Kadin Feldis

Designing and building is in Kadin’s blood. He has been inventing and tinkering since childhood, and lends his creative skills to solving many challenges in places ranging from the woods of Alaska, to the islands of Indonesia, to the streets of San Francisco. Mountain biking, climbing and skiing keep him busy when he’s not in the shop. Kadin is currently a sophomore in Mechanical Engineering at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, CA.

Taz Feldis

Taz lends his creativity, tenacity and humor to all kinds of projects, from photography to graphic design and construction. Once his mind is set, there is no stopping him. Taz’s experiences around Alaska and around the world give him a wide and realistic perspective on issues and how to address them. Meaningful work drives him. Taz loves to ski. He will graduate from West High School in Anchorage in May and continue his studies beyond in the coming years.

Kiana Feldis

Energetic and driven, Kiana jumps into sports, projects and studies with gusto. She loves to build things with her family. From playing soccer to debate, math and beyond, her enthusiasm is contagious. Putting in maximum effort comes naturally to her. Kiana will finish 8th grade at Romig Middle School in Anchorage in May and continue on to West High School in the fall with her friends. She can’t wait to start playing for her team at Cook Inlet Soccer Club again once practice resumes, but she’ll keep juggling on ice and making Face Shields in the meantime!

Kevin Feldis

Always up for something new, Kevin constantly supports his kids in whatever project they come up with. His work as a law Partner at Perkins Coie LLP keeps him extremely busy advising clients worldwide. Kevin has taught his kids the value of hard work and honesty and continues to inspire them and support them along the paths they choose.

Laura Grant

Laura is the facilitator of the family, supporting the creative pursuits and the wide ranging interests of her kids. She contributes to the community at every opportunity, from school projects to environmental preservation. Her latest projects involve supporting Roshan Learning Center for refugees in Jakarta, tutoring English Language Learners in the Anchorage School District, and starting a high school project in Indonesia with Rainforest Connection. At the moment, making Face Shields for medical personnel in Alaska is front and center!
